Terms of Service

01Acceptance and Changes

These Terms take effect upon posting in the App. We may modify these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes will be posted on this page in advance, and material changes will be notified to you by email or in-app notice.

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may stop using the service and terminate your account. Continued use of the service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

02Service Description and Plans

The App is a breath-based meditation tool that provides the following four meditation modes plus records and statistics:

• Free meditation: a base mode for self-paced breath awareness practice
• Emergency meditation: a guided short-form session designed to help with acute calming
• Sleep meditation: a pre-sleep breathing guide with auto-finish
• Challenge mode: a mode for longer-form sustained focus practice
• Records and statistics: session logs, cumulative breath counts, daily/monthly statistics, level and emblem system

The App offers two access tiers — a Free plan (no payment required) and a Premium plan (paid subscription). The scope of each plan is set out below, and we may adjust these limits as needed (changes will be announced in the app).

■ Free plan

• Free meditation: once per day / up to 20 breaths per session (auto-stop)
• Emergency meditation: once per day (counted separately from free meditation) / up to 20 breaths per session
• Sleep meditation: free trial for 30 days from first sign-up, once per day; locked after the 30-day window
• Challenge mode: locked (not available)
• Level progression: PS (meditation score) accrues normally up to Lv.5. Sessions beyond Lv.5 are still recorded, but no further PS is awarded.
• Daily quotes and tips: provided from a limited content pool determined by the App

■ Premium plan (additional scope)

• Free meditation / emergency meditation: no daily-count limit and no per-session breath cap
• Sleep meditation: unlimited (continues to be available after the 30-day trial)
• Challenge mode: unlocked and available
• Level progression: PS continues to accrue beyond Lv.5
• Daily quotes and tips: access to the full content pool

We may add, modify, or remove features without prior notice in order to improve service quality. However, any change materially adverse to Premium subscribers will be announced in advance.

03Account Registration

The App requires account creation via email or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the security of your account.

• The service is not available to users under 14 years of age. (This threshold satisfies both the parental-consent requirement under Article 22-2 of the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and the under-13 protection standard of the U.S. COPPA.)
• You must not share your account credentials with others and must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use.
• As a general rule, each individual may create only one account.

04Subscription and Payment

The Premium plan is provided as a paid subscription. Subscription fees, payment, and automatic renewal are processed through the billing system of the platform on which you installed the App (Apple App Store or Google Play Store), and subscription state is managed via RevenueCat.

• Pricing: subscription prices are shown in each store and may vary by region and currency.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal charges are billed to your account around the end of the current period.
• How to cancel (iOS): you can cancel auto-renewal at any time via [Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions] on your iOS device.
• How to cancel (Android): you can cancel auto-renewal at any time via [Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions].
• Price changes: in the event of subscription price changes, prior notice and re-consent will be handled in accordance with the policy of the relevant store (Apple App Store / Google Play).

The App does not provide a sign-up-stage Premium free trial (e.g., a 7-day trial). The scope of each plan, including limited Free-plan items such as the 30-day sleep-meditation trial, is governed by Section 2 (Service Description and Plans). The billing and auto-renewal rules above apply from the moment a Premium subscription begins.

05Refund Policy

Refunds for subscription payments are handled in accordance with the refund policy of the store where the payment was made (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). The App does not have authority to directly refund amounts charged through those stores; refund requests must be submitted to the store where the payment was made.

06User Obligations

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App's source code
• Circumventing or interfering with the App's servers, networks, or security features
• Manipulating or fraudulently inflating statistics via automated means (bots, scripts, etc.)
• Using another person's account without authorization or impersonating others
• Any other act that violates applicable law or these Terms

In the event of a violation, we may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice, and we are not liable for any resulting damages.

07Intellectual Property

All copyrights and intellectual property rights in the App's software, design, text, graphics, shaders, logos, trademarks, and all other content belong to the App or its rights holders.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes within the scope set forth in these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit the App's content without authorization.

Rights in meditation records you generate (session duration, breath counts, etc.) belong to you.

08Medical and Psychological Disclaimer

Please consult a physician before using the App if any of the following apply:

• You have a respiratory condition (such as asthma, COPD) or a cardiovascular condition
• You are pregnant or have recently given birth
• You have been diagnosed with panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, or similar (certain breathing techniques may trigger symptoms)
• You have any other medical condition that may be affected by use of the App

You assume all responsibility for any physical or psychological outcomes resulting from use of the App, and you agree to use the App at your own discretion and risk.

09Service Changes and Interruption

We may modify or discontinue all or part of the service, with prior or subsequent notice, in the following cases:

• System inspection, maintenance, or upgrades are required
• Normal service cannot be provided due to power outages, facility failures, traffic overload, etc.
• A third-party service (Firebase, Apple, RevenueCat, etc.) experiences a failure
• Acts of God, war, or other events of force majeure occur
• The service is discontinued for business or operational reasons (in which case 30 days' prior notice will be provided)

10Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via [Profile → Delete Account] in the app. Upon termination, your personal information including meditation records will be permanently deleted within 30 days, as set out in the Privacy Policy.

Active subscriptions are managed separately from account termination. To stop auto-renewal you must cancel separately in the store where the payment was made (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). See Section 4 (Subscription and Payment) for details.

We may terminate an account, after prior notice (or subsequent notice in urgent cases), if the user has materially breached these Terms.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for the following in connection with your use of the service, whether free or paid:

• Service disruption or data loss attributable to the user
• Damages caused by failures of third-party services (Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, etc.)
• Damages arising from acts of God or events of force majeure
• Any medical or psychological outcome arising from reliance on the reliability or accuracy of information provided by the App (see Section 8)

This section does not exclude liability for damages caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, and user rights guaranteed by mandatory consumer protection law remain in full effect.

12Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance. The right of a consumer to bring a claim before the court of their residence or domicile is preserved as provided by applicable law (including the Korean Civil Procedure Act).
