Account & Sign-in

How can I sign up?

You can sign up with email and password, Sign in with Apple. For email sign-up, you must verify your email through the verification message sent on first sign-in.

I didn't receive the verification email.

Please check your Spam and Promotions folders first. If you still don't see it, tap [Resend verification email] in the app. The sender is noreply@truemeditation.app.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap [Reset Password] to receive a reset link at your sign-up email. Accounts created with Apple sign-in do not have a password — simply sign in again with Apple.

I switched devices — how do I bring my records?

Your records are stored in your account (cloud). Sign in on the new device using the same method (email or Apple), and all sessions and statistics will sync automatically.

Meditation Features

The breath tap isn't being recognized well.

Breath is measured by double-tapping the screen. Tap twice lightly with your finger at the end of each inhale–exhale cycle. Double-taps faster than ~0.2s may be registered as a single tap.

What is the PS score?

PS (Presence Score) is determined by your meditation duration and the depth of your breathing. Longer sessions with deeper breathing yield a higher score. It is meant as a personal indicator of your flow, not an absolute evaluation.

How does sleep meditation work?

Sleep meditation is designed to be used in bed. If you fall asleep during the session and there is no input for a period of time, the session ends automatically, and your device then follows its own lock settings. If your device is set to Auto-Lock: Never, the battery may drain — please set Auto-Lock to a finite duration.

Sleep meditation is a Premium feature. Free users receive a once-per-day pass during the 30-day free trial period.

My sessions are missing or not showing up.

Open the app again after reconnecting to the internet. Sessions are saved to the cloud at the end of each session; if the app was force-quit before that point, some data may not have been saved. If a session is still missing after a few days, email us with your sign-up address and the approximate time of the missing session.

Subscription & Billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

All subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store. You can cancel directly under iPhone [Settings → Your Name (Apple ID) → Subscriptions → True Meditation]. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

I'd like to request a refund.

Refunds are processed under Apple's policies. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, find the purchase, and submit a request. We do not retain payment information and cannot issue refunds directly.

I subscribed but Premium isn't unlocked.

In the app, tap [Profile → Subscription → Restore Purchases] to re-verify your receipt. App Store payments may take a few minutes to process. If it still isn't unlocked, email us with your sign-up address.

Data & Account Deletion

I want to delete my account and all data.

You can delete your account immediately via [Profile → Delete Account] in the app. Deletion blocks the account immediately, and all meditation records and personal data are permanently erased within 30 days. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@truemeditation.app from your sign-up address.

I'd like a copy of my data.

To exercise your right to data portability under GDPR or Korean PIPA, email privacy@truemeditation.app from your sign-up address. We respond within 30 days with a machine-readable export.
